About Us But Not About Us

Book Tix!

Intrigue is on the menu in this masterfully constructed Filipino mystery from the director of Die Beautiful (MGFF17). Guaranteed to keep audiences guessing until the credits roll.

In downtown Manila, post-COVID-19 lockdown, restaurant sittings are restricted to 90 minutes. This is the setting for this engrossing two-hander in which Eric, a gay university professor grieving the loss of his long-term partner, meets Lance, an ambitious young literature student. Over the course of their meal, the men’s pleasant conversation becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse in which startling revelations are made.

Content warning: contains discussions of suicide and child abuse, and COVID-19 pandemic themes
