Love & Revolution

Original language title: Te estoy amando locamente
Book Tix!

This empowering story of acceptance delivers a moving tribute to the activists who paved the way for the Spanish LGBTIQ+ rights movement.

Set in 1977 Andalusia, when homosexuality was a crime, Miguel’s ambitions to become a professional singer are brought to a halt when he is arrested at a queer community event. This injustice forces Reme, Miguel’s mother, to finally confront her own traditional views on her son’s sexuality. Together, mother and son join a motley crew of gay, lesbian and trans activists in the fight for homosexuality to finally be decriminalised, in this heartwarming portrait of change and resilience.
