Tina Romero, the daughter of horror icon George A. Romero, puts her own sparkly twist on the genre her father popularised, in this fabulous, laugh-out-loud comedy.
Warehouse party organiser Dre (Katy O’Brian, Love Lies Bleeding) is already struggling to manage the clashing personalities amongst her staff and performers before a zombie apocalypse breaks out across Brooklyn. With her wife Lizzy (Riki Lindholme, Wednesday), a nurse, stuck across town dealing with the fallout in hospital, Dre and an eclectic group of drag queens and club kids must put aside their differences to fight against the brain-thirsty undead so the couple can be reunited.
Featuring a who’s who of queer scene-stealers – Jaquel Spivey (Mean Girls), Tomás Matos (Fire Island), Nina West (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Jack Haven (I Saw the TV Glow), Dominique Jackson (Pose), Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story) and Margaret Cho – Romero drew on her years as a club DJ to create the diverse ensemble of hilarious party misfits.
