An evocative experimental documentary exploring queer sexuality, consent, and belonging within Berlin’s sex-positive community.

People of all different sexualities, genders and body types who found home and belonging in Berlin’s sex-positive queer scene discuss and demonstrate what brings them pleasure. The diverse group offer unfiltered perspectives on everything from group sex, establishing clear boundaries, sexual health and kink, through to polyamory and non-monogamy, disclosing HIV status and sex work. At times explicit, sweet and even awkward, everyone is given space to express their opinions, wants and desires without fear or judgement.

Inspired by filmmaker Maja Classen’s feeling of loneliness and longing during the first COVID-19 lockdown, Truth or Dare offers a frank and open look at queer sex and community, and intimacy in its many forms.
