Free Short Film Packages
We’ve decided our normally sell-out shorts will be FREE this year so that more people can enjoy on more screens than ever! All films in the shorts packages are either subtitled or have the option of closed captions. Take your pick of some fab films.
Gay Shorts
Our gay shorts return, and this year we’re making them FREE so that everyone can enjoy them at home! From app hookups to sexy explorations, this dazzling array will titillate and tease, amuse, and move as they traverse the gay experience.
Lesbian Shorts
In the FREE lesbian shorts program you will see seven fascinating stories of lesbian relationships spanning across the globe. Each short gives unique insight into the excitement, passion, heartbreak, and pure joy that comes from female love.
Trans and Gender Diverse Shorts
The FREE Trans and Gender Diverse shorts program brings together experiences of gender-expansiveness from across the world. Featuring Darling, winner of the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film at the Venice Film Festival, this program is not to be missed!
Pitch Off!
Queer Screen is thrilled for the return of Pitch Off! Filmmakers will spruik their film proposal to a panel of expert assessors, competing for a chance to win $10,000 to produce their short film. This will be a free, online LIVE event on the 27th September.
