Rhys joins as a Board Associate in Jan 2026. He brings experience in digital strategy, customer experience and marketing across complex, customer-focused organisations. Based in Sydney, Rhys has held senior leadership roles in digital transformation and customer experience both as perm and interim leader. He is committed to supporting Queer Screen’s mission to celebrate and amplify queer screen culture across Australia.

On a personal note Rhys’ own coming out journey many years ago was helped by the representation he saw in film and tv. And for this reason he is passionate that queer representation is still essential more than ever.
