Sarah has joined Queer Screen as a Board Associate, having been a pre-screener for the last year.

Sarah is an epidemiologist by training and started working during the early days of the HIV pandemic and finished her public health career after playing an active role during the COVID pandemic. She has over 25 years of Senior Executive experience in Government and is now working as an independent consultant. She brings experience in strategic planning, governance, data analytics, stakeholder engagement, and strong partnerships with researchers, communities, and NGOs. Sarah volunteered for 6 years with the Public Health Association in several roles, including NSW President.

Sarah strongly connects with the mission of Queer Screen and values the importance of representation in film (features and shorts) and on TV. Queer story telling is political and she believes we need to amplify our voices louder and prouder.
