13 Jun Your Support Matters | Donate Now
Since 1993, Queer Screen has thrived thanks to the generosity and support of donors like you. Your contributions allow us to operate year-round, host exciting events, organise community screenings, and, most importantly, present the Mardi Gras Film Festival and Queer Screen Film Fest.
Your donation not only sustains Queer Screen’s ongoing work but also helps emerging filmmakers bring their stories to life. With your support, we can continue showcasing bold and diverse LGBTIQA+ content—building a platform that brings our communities together, celebrates our stories, and spreads the love.
No donation is too little or too large because every little bit helps!
· Go small, any donation over $2 is tax-deductible. Perfect time before your next tax return!
· Go big, become a Top 100 donor ($100+) or True Love ($500+) donor and be acknowledged on our website, in our Mardi Gras Film Festival program guide and across cinema screens (only individuals are eligible for this due to our DGR status).
· Double the size, check with your employer if they are part of the Workplace Giving program and match staff donations. So if you donate $50 or volunteer for eight hours, your workplace matches the value—doubling your donation! View a partial list of employers with programs.

Your donations also directly support emerging and established filmmakers to bring more queer stories to the big screen — through initiatives like the Queer Screen Completion Fund, Pitch Off, and My Queer Career.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, Queer Screen has helped bring 33 films to life, providing over $220,000 in funding. This phenomenal contribution to queer storytelling is only possible because of people like you!
“As a long-time supporter, I’ve been attending the Mardi Gras Film Festival since 1994, along with QueerDoc and the Queer Screen Film Fest. Queer Screen has done so much incredible work for the LGBTIQA+ community over the years. It’s not only vital for the queer community — it’s also become a meaningful part of my life.” – Queer Screen Supporter
