Volunteering for Queer Screen has given me the chance to undertake a range of interesting and challenging duties and make new friends!
David Blanco - Volunteer since 2018
I've loved working with Queer Screen the past four years, volunteering with the float, and the sense of community that everybody brings, it is a really lovely team to be a part of.
Hamish Elliot, Volunteer, winner of the 2020 Frank Wells Volunteer of the Year Award
Queer Screen is powered by volunteers at every level from the Board to the cinema ushers, and is wonderfully supported by our community. Our emphasis is on having fun and making new friends, as much as working hard at all our events.
At Queer Screen, we value diversity and strive to create an inclusive and harmonious environment where our employees and volunteers can bring their whole selves to the organisation and realise their full potential. We acknowledge that people are inherently multi-faceted, in terms of their ethnicity, age, race, cultural background, religion, political conviction, disability, their status(es) within the LGBTIQA+ communities and allies.
Our organisation is inclusive of all, regardless of who they are or how they identify themselves. Volunteer today!
If you have a disability or any need that requires accommodation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
