Andrew first started volunteering for Queer Screen in 2018. Since then, he has gone on to work in multiple roles, including ticketing, front of house, production assistant, programming assistant and industry coordinator. His current role encompasses assisting with helping to put together the festival program for both the Mardi Gras Film Festival and Queer Screen Film Fest, with a particular focus on short film programming, as well as assisting with delivering Queer Screen’s industry initiatives including Pitch Off, My Queer Career, Queer Screen Goes to Cannes and the Completion Fund. Outside of Queer Screen he has worked at a number of other festivals, including the Sydney Film Festival, SXSW Sydney and the Antenna Documentary Film Festival.
