Applications open for: Ticketing & Customer Service Coordinator

Queer Screen is seeking an experienced Ticketing Coordinator with Customer Service experience who is interested in the production of a major film festival in Sydney, Queer Screen’s 31st Mardi Gras Film Festival. 

Reporting to the Festival Producer and working closely with festival staff, and volunteers, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Day to day ticketing and customer service in the lead up to and during the festival (On-site and office)
  • Running ticketing training sessions for Volunteers and FOH staff
  • Update and manage ticketing and technical spec documentation
  • Liaising with our ticketing platform Ferve re: streaming and ticketing issues
  • Oversee ticketing and accessibility inboxes
  • Assist with ticketing inquiries including customer service over the phone, management of ticketing holds
  • Handling communications with our VIP members
  • Managing RSVP and guest lists for events 
  • Overseeing accessibility comms and its distribution

 

The position requires a min 3 day per week work commitment from 3rd January 2024 till 14th March 2024.

The majority of the tasks will be completed between Monday – Friday, 9 – 5pm, but there will be the expectation to work outside of these hours in the lead up to and during the festival.
