Michael is an innovative, outcomes-focused senior Executive with extensive inclusion, culture, leadership, and talent development experience, as well as events, arts sponsorship management experience.

Michael is the Director of Employee Experience Capability and Inclusion at NSW Dept. of Planning and Environment and is a past CEO, Treasurer, Board and Parade Director with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG).

In addition to volunteering at Queer Screen, Michael serves on the People and Nominations Committee at SGLMG, the HR Advisory Board of the NSW Government sector HR Community of Practice and the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) NSW Program Advisory Committee.
