Michelle, a finance professional with over two decades of experience, joined the Board as Treasurer and Director in April 2024. Prior to this, she contributed to the Board as an Associate Treasurer.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Michelle brings a deep understanding of financial management and risk assessment to Queer Screen. She is committed to optimising the organisation’s existing financial processes, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximising resources to support Queer Screen’s initiatives. Michelle is currently the Deputy CFO of Magellan Asset Management and, prior to that, held senior finance roles at Origin Energy and KPMG Australia.

As a member of the Board, Michelle looks forward to advancing Queer Screen’s mission, advocating for marginalised voices and championing the transformative power of queer storytelling.
