Mike has over 20 years of TV industry experience in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia including Producing, Directing and Casting on BAFTA-Award winning shows such as Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Australian series including Australia’s Got Talent, Australian Ninja Warrior, Amazing Race, Hunted and the Mardi Gras Parade/World Pride broadcasts. Mike also runs his own production company, Create & Cast, which has produced of dozens commercials, a Channel Ten comedy special, and created Australia’s first fully independent queer live stream TV series Live from Stonewall during the pandemic part funded by City of Sydney.

Due to his love of queer storytelling and capturing the celebration and impact of the Mardi Gras Film Festival, Mike joined Queer Screen in February 2015 filming coverage of the festival and events. After spending time as a Board Director in 2020-2021, Mike continues to help push the festival forward working on our annual Film Funding awards, digital content and event coverage as one of our Associates.
