We are hitting the road with our 31st Mardi Gras Film Festival and our first stop is in the Blue Mountains.
From the 22nd – 24th of March 2024, Mount Vic Flicks will be home to a handful of LGBTIQ+ films, including the winner of MGFF24’s Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature Femme.
We are also bringing a selection of MGFF24’s best short films, a doco about a rebellious, sharp-shooting octogenarian (Isla’s Way), and the 4K restoration of the 1995 sapphic classic When Night is Falling.

The next stop on the tour is our nation’s capital.
Best of Gay Shorts, Best of Sapphic Shorts and Best of Trans and Gender Diverse Shorts are just some of the MGFF24 audience favourites that will be screening will be screening at the National Film and Sound Archive from the 3rd – 6th of April 2024.
We are also bringing on tour with us the film Days of Happiness which had it’s Australian Premiere at the Sydney Opera House as part of MGFF24’s Sydney run, along with Australian coming-of-age drama Sunflower, Sundance award winner Kokomo City and the film that got tongues wagging in Sydney, Femme.
