Experience this loving tribute to transmasculine sexual visibility in Jules Rosskam’s groundbreaking hybrid documentary.

Recipient of the 2024 NEXT Special Jury Award at Sundance, Desire Lines seamlessly blends reality with fiction as Ahmad, an Iranian trans man, journeys through the archive on a personal quest to understand the intersections between gender identity and desire. Comprised of archival interviews by prominent trans activist Lou Sullivan, alongside a diverse range of contemporary perspectives from the transmasculine community, these elements are woven together through a groundbreaking narrative segment, featuring a supporting performance by Theo Germaine (Holy Trinity, QSFF20).
