After a heart attack, 60 year old Luís experiences the threat of death for the first time. Scared, he decides to retreat to a mountain house belonging to his ex-husband while, to avoid his 20-something boyfriend Mario seeing him in this fragile state. In this mountain refuge, Luís will be forced to confront his fear of death and old age, while he fights against the desire of keeping Mario by his side.
