Bringing together a group of Australian TV writers with credits on shows you love, they’ll discuss what it’s like working in a writer’s room as an LGBTIQ+ person.
In an industry that’s not always been very diverse we’ll explore how things have changed, how queer characters do (and don’t) get on screen and navigating representing an entire community. Moderated by writer and broadcaster Gen Fricker, she’ll be joined by Anchuli Felicia King (Deadloch), Enoch Mailangi (All My Friends Are Racist) and Greg Waters (Riot). Entry is free, but bookings are essential.
Please note – Thomas Wilson-White was previously advertised as a panelist, but is now unable to attend.
This event is part of the Queer Screen Pride in Film: Industry Development Series, supported by Screen NSW.
