When young literature teacher Gabriel moves to Rio he discovers The Glória, a neighborhood bar and cruising spot. There he forms a circle of close friends, including magnetic trans owner Monica. When he meets escort Adriano, their explosive chemistry sparks a passionate and tumultuous love affair. But when Adriano disappears without a trace, Gabriel’s investigation into what happened sends him down an all-consuming, destructive path that Monica and his newfound family try to pull him out of.
