What a Feeling invites us into a world where reinvention is key to survival, in this heartfelt romantic comedy about two women who, on paper, are worlds apart.

Marie Theres (Caroline Peters) is living out the perfect middle-class dream with a career, house, husband and kid – until she’s not. When her husband and daughter leave her and her life falls apart around her, she meets Fa (Proschat Madani), a free-spirited carpenter and serial dater who takes care of her elderly Iranian mother. The pair are drawn together by a desire to live their lives for themselves, in this warm, funny film about chance encounters, culture and community.
