10 Jan Amazing Optus X MGFF24 Experiences
Optus proudly supports the 2024 Mardi Gras Film Festival as our Presenting Partner and they are showing up with👏 the👏 goods 👏 to provide some amazing experiences for you in 2024.
This year Optus is giving you a chance to be titled MGFF24’s Biggest Fan AND the chance to win The Optus Golden Tickets to a number of screenings. Not only that, but they are sponsoring our Audience Awards as well.
Queer Screen’s Biggest Fan will be awarded to the person who has purchased the most tickets during MGFF. Cool, cool, but what does Queer Screen’s Biggest Fan win?
Our Biggest Fan will be given the opportunity (for them and a friend) to march with Queer Screen in the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade on March 2nd! They also win bragging rights, obviously. And it’s all thanks to Optus! Start buying your tickets!
The winner will be contacted after February 20th.
The Optus Golden Ticket gives you the chance to win a VIP in-cinema experience including priority cinema access, a $50 Event Cinemas Gift Card to spend on food and drink at the candy bar or in the Gold Class lounge, and guaranteed the best seats in the cinema for you and one friend.
To be in the running all you have to do is purchase a ticket online to any of the 12 eligible films presented by Optus and opt in when checking out online.
One lucky ticket holder will be chosen at random by MGFF for each of the 12 film screenings.
Golden Ticket competition winners will be contacted by the phone number or email address on their account/booking by midday on the day before their screening. So, to be eligible you’ll need to buy your tickets and opt-in before midday the day before the screening.
The Audience Awards are all about you (the audience) having your say on your favourite films that played at Mardi Gras Film Festival! And it is also a super nice surprise for the filmmakers of the winning films because who doesn’t appreciate being showered in prize money and accolades.
The award categories are: Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature and Best Short.
Keep an eye out for voting outside cinemas after your sessions.
See below for Terms and conditions.
