Book Tix!

A gripping and timely social drama that skilfully explores family, masculinity, and sexual repression.

Iman, an Iranian wrestler, escapes to Sweden after being accused of criticising his homeland’s oppressive regime. He and his family are trapped in bureaucratic limbo awaiting the outcome of their asylum residency application. To improve the family’s chances of permanent residency, Iman decides to wrestle competitively for Sweden. The sweat and muscle of training, along with his growing attraction to a handsome young teammate, force Iman to confront long-hidden desires amidst the weight of familial responsibility.
